In 2003 I found myself in need of a new hobby and spent several hours walking through the aisles at the local Michael’s store one day looking for something to catch my eye.  I happened to stroll down the bead aisle and found my passion.  I love jewellery as you would know if you saw my jewellery boxes.   

I then started on a quest to learn what I needed to know and have developed my skills through self teaching and by completing several jewellery wire working classes at the Dundas Valley School of Art and other courses offered through bead stores.  I initially sold to my family and friends and then in a few local stores before the website was born.  I currently have pieces at Artist’s Walk in Burlington.

I like to work with semi-precious stones, crystals and natural wood beads.  I combine colourful and different shaped stones, wire or chain to create that one-of-a-kind look.  For me, it’s important that the customer has a design that only she will own therefore I try not to duplicate a piece.  Most designs will always have a bit of ‘bling’ to give them that little sparkle. My interest in the healing powers of semi-precious stones has been brought into my designs and will be noted on the site.

My inspiration can come from a dress, printed shirt, another piece of jewellery or simply by pulling different stones from my inventory.  My style varies from design to design mixing wire wrapping or chain maille to accentuate each piece.  I like to think that my designs are unique and will enhance your look when you wear them.
